New possibilities of complex therapy of allergic dermatoses

New possibilities of complex therapy of allergic dermatoses
The connection between allergic skin diseases and pathologies of the digestive, nervous, and endocrine systems has long been known and confirmed by numerous scientific studies and clinical practice. It has been established that the active antigenic stimulation, which the modern human body is constantly subjected to, transforms more readily from a monovalent to a polyvalent state in the presence of concomitant and numerous disorders in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT).

Lactofiltrum is a highly effective and safe drug that significantly expands the possibilities for treating allergodermatoses. Including the drug in complex therapy leads to a faster regression of skin rashes and subjective sensations, normalization of gastrointestinal tract function, which contributes to a substantial improvement in the quality of life. The drug is non-toxic, does not cause side effects, and is convenient for use and dosing (tablet form).

Allergodermatoses are the most common diseases in dermatological practice.

The skin is a mirror of our body and reflects any of its ailments. It is known that the skin, as well as the nervous system, the anterior and posterior sections of the intestine, and the sensory organs are formed from the same germ layer – the ectoderm, which determines their close functional relationship.

The most common diseases in dermatological practice are allergodermatoses. According to data from the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation "Institute of Immunology," skin allergies account for 20% of the general structure of allergic diseases, and in the structure of allergic pathology in children, they account for 50% to 66.4%, represented mainly by atopic dermatitis. The problem of allergic skin diseases is becoming more and more relevant, as there is a growing predisposition of the population to allergic diseases, especially among residents of megacities. The main reasons for the increase in population sensitization are unfavorable environmental conditions, irrational nutrition and lifestyle, stress factors, uncontrolled use of medicinal and cosmetic products, active use of household chemicals in everyday life, etc. (1).

There is also no doubt that the gastrointestinal tract and the skin play an important role in maintaining the constancy of the internal environment of the body. Consequently, a violation of the intestinal barrier function, leading to increased endotoxemia, sensitization, and disruption of homeostasis, can affect the condition of the skin and the course of dermatoses.

Thus, modern therapeutic regimens for treating dermatological diseases should be comprehensive, taking into account all changes in the body as a whole. Therefore, one of the components of successful treatment of allergodermatoses is the use of detoxification methods.
