Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory disease that presents with open or closed comedones and inflammatory skin lesions such as papules, pustules, and nodules. Approximately 95% of the global population experiences acne at some point in their lives. In 2010, acne was the eighth most prevalent disease worldwide, while also being the most common dermatological disorder (accounting for 13.2% of all dermatologist consultations).

Candidal vaginitis/vulvovaginitis is a common reason for women to visit a gynecologist [1,2]. In pregnant women, a candidal infection affecting the genital tract increases the risk of preterm termination of pregnancy, spontaneous abortion, premature rupture of membranes, and the development of chorioamnionitis and intrauterine infection.

Candidal vulvovaginitis (CVV) is one of the most common infectious diseases affecting the vulvar and vaginal mucosa, caused by yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida.

The unique status of lactic acid bacteria in the vaginal microflora largely determines the health of a woman's reproductive system. The most pronounced deficiency of Lactobacillus is observed in bacterial vaginosis and aerobic vaginitis, and their deficiency is also quite significant in candidal vulvovaginitis (CVV).

The search for new methods to correct dysbiotic conditions remains relevant, and in this context, the use of eco-antibiotics should find its niche in clinical practice.

It has been established that Propionibacterium acnes can interact with markers of innate immunity, such as Toll-like receptors (TLR) and protease-activated receptors (PAR).

Minocycline (Minolexin®) is a highly effective drug for the treatment of moderate papulopustular inflammatory acne. Minocycline combines well with topical therapies and enhances their effectiveness. It can be prescribed to both adults and children (approved for use from 8 years of age). Flexible dosing (50/100 mg/day) allows the drug to be used for extended periods.

According to international data, the incidence of diarrheal infections in industrialized countries is 0.5–2.0 episodes per person per year. The social and economic significance of acute intestinal infection (AII) is not limited to its high morbidity rate.
