Minocycline (Minolexin®) is a highly effective drug for the treatment of moderate papulopustular inflammatory acne. Minocycline combines well with topical therapies and enhances their efficacy. It can be prescribed to both adults and children (approved for use from 8 years of age). Flexible dosing (50/100 mg per day) allows for long-term use of the drug.
