Free medicines for Kirov hospitals from AVVA RUS

Kirov pharmaceutical company JSC "AVVA RUS" has supplied hospitals in the Kirov region with medicines of its own production. Medications with a total value of 840,762.12 rubles were received by the Regional Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary, the Children's Clinical Hospital, the Northern Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care, the Regional Veterans' War Hospital, City Clinical Hospital No. 6 "Lepse", Falenki Central District Hospital, and the Kirov Regional Clinical Hospital.

The agreement on these charitable deliveries was reached between the company's management and the Head of the Kirov Region, Igor Vasiliev. The acting governor met with the General Director of JSC "AVVA RUS", Alexey Egorov, and the director of the company's Kirov branch, Olga Gordienko, in November of last year. Following that meeting, a roadmap was signed between the government and AVVA RUS. It provides for an increase in the number of jobs, growth in investments, and infrastructure development.

Igor Vasiliev considers the pharmaceutical industry a promising direction for economic development and is ready to support enterprises, assisting in obtaining federal grants and project development.

– In turn, enterprises should meet us halfway, – says Igor Vasiliev. – All major technology enterprises must be registered in the Kirov Region. And we will do everything possible and impossible to ensure that these enterprises exist and develop, so that they are known not only in Russia but throughout the world.

It is worth recalling that a biotechnological cluster is being formed in the region, the core of which will be the biopharmaceutical company "NanoLEK". The cluster is scheduled to be created by the end of 2017. Furthermore, the "Rosplazma" plant will be completed in Kirov. Construction of the plant began back in 2005 but was never finished. Last year, the unfinished facility was transferred to the state corporation "Rostec", which assigned it to its subsidiary "NatsimBio". The enterprise will produce medicinal drugs derived from human blood plasma.
