VyatSU students visited AVVA RUS

Second-year students of the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology of VyatSU visited the production site of the Kirov branch of JSC "AVVA RUS".

The tour was conducted as part of the Experimental Scientific and Educational Program launched in early April by Vyatka State University with the support of the Kirov-based pharmaceutical enterprise JSC "AVVA RUS". The program aims to increase young people's interest in the biopharmaceutical industry and to facilitate the employment of Vyatka State University graduates.

The tour was the first step in creating a new generation of biopharmaceutical specialists for "AVVA RUS". The Director of the Kirov Branch of JSC "AVVA RUS" personally showed the students how the enterprise operates, provided valuable advice, and invited them to participate in a paid internship. She also told the students about the main areas of the production's work and cooperation with VyatSU.

"Pharmaceutical biotechnology is one of the priority industries. For you, future specialists, it is very important to see with your own eyes how a pharmaceutical enterprise works. Our company is interested in having new qualified graduates from VyatSU come to work at the enterprise," said Olga Gordienko, Director of the Kirov Branch of JSC "AVVA RUS".

Before the start of the tour of the pharmaceutical enterprise, a safety briefing was conducted for the students. The students visited the chemical-analytical and microbiological laboratories, where they were shown how raw materials are analyzed. The future specialists observed the operation of equipment for blister forming and packaging, as well as all stages of drug production.
