XVIII Congress of Russian Pediatricians with International Participation "Actual Problems of Pediatrics"

From February 13 to 15, our company participated in the 18th Congress of Pediatricians of Russia with international participation, "Current Problems of Pediatrics." Over the three days of the congress, the booth was visited by approximately 1,000 doctors from 60 Russian cities and three CIS countries.

A satellite symposium was held as part of the congress: "Prospects and Innovative Solutions for the Safety of Antibiotic Therapy. Results of a Metagenomic Comparative Analysis of the Gut Microbiota State Under the Influence of Antibiotics."

Leading pediatricians participated in the symposium's scientific program:

I.N. Zakharova, MD, PhD, Professor, Head of the Department of Pediatrics at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, with a report: "Antibiotic-Associated Intestinal Lesions. Results of a Metagenomic Comparative Analysis of the Gut Microbiota State Under the Influence of Antibiotics."

E.B. Mumladze, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education, with a report: "Problems of Antibiotic Therapy Safety in Children. Methods and Possibilities for Overcoming Antibiotic Resistance."

The presentations generated lively interest among the audience. Professor Irina Nikolaevna Zakharova's report on the sequencing results was met with great interest and sparked numerous questions and discussions.

Our company's booth was very bright, lively, and interesting. All booth visitors were treated to coffee, given promotional brochures, and invited to fill out a participant questionnaire. The "Eco-Antibiotics" video was shown at the booth. Medical representatives from the Moscow team, under the leadership of Regional Director Larisa Spiridonova, were present. Everyone demonstrated clear, focused, and highly organized work at a high level.
