Acting Governor of the Kirov Region Igor Vasiliev visited the AVVA RUS enterprise

On October 18, the Acting Governor of the Kirov Region, Igor Vasilyev, paid a working visit to one of the region's leading pharmaceutical enterprises - the Kirov branch of JSC "AVVA RUS".

The event was also attended by the acting Deputy Chairmen of the Regional Government, Maxim Kochetkov and Vladimir Beketov.

The head of the region inspected the production facilities of the pharmaceutical complex. During a meeting with Production Director Olga Gordienko, issues of the enterprise's development, prospects for further expansion of production, and the product range were discussed.

It should be recalled that the enterprise was established in 1996 and specializes in the production of medicines in areas such as pediatrics, gastroenterology, cardiology, neurology, allergology, and infectious diseases. Today, the company's products are supplied not only to regions of Russia but also abroad – to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Romania.

The enterprise has formed a highly qualified staff of managers and specialists - nearly 400 people work here.

In recent years, JSC "AVVA RUS" has been an active participant in the state program "Pharma 2020". The enterprise has implemented five state contracts for the development and organization of production of medicinal products included in the Vital and Essential Drugs List (VED), including antibiotics.

As Igor Vasilyev emphasized, pharmacology is a very real "growth point" in the economy of the Kirov Region. Moreover, such enterprises today allow the region to thrive and develop its social sphere.

-"We, for our part, must also support them: for example, in obtaining grants for project development at the federal level, in ensuring uninterrupted supply of electricity, heat, and light - that is, doing everything possible so that the enterprise can operate normally. We also discussed today that large high-tech enterprises, in turn, should be registered in the Kirov Region," said Igor Vasilyev. - "As a result of joint, interested work, not only Russia but the whole world will know about Kirov enterprises."
