Symposium - antibiotics and anabolic syndrome supported by ABBA RUS

As part of the congress on October 16, a satellite symposium titled "Antibiotics and Metabolic Syndrome. What Connects Them?" was held with the support of the company AVVA RUS. The symposium featured a screening of the video film "Antibiotics 2.0. Reboot."

A presentation on the topic "Biosafety of Antibiotics. How to correctly choose an antibacterial drug for a patient with metabolic syndrome." was delivered by M.L. Maksimov (Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases at the Medical Faculty, Professor of the Department of Pharmacology at the Pharmaceutical Faculty, Dean of the Pre-University Education Faculty of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University of the Russian Ministry of Health).

A report on the topic "Results of a metagenomic analysis of gut microbiota under the influence of antibiotics." was also presented by A.V. Tyakht (Candidate of Biological Sciences, Bioinformatics Laboratory, Research Institute of Physical and Chemical Medicine).

The AVVA RUS exhibition booth attracted a large number of visitors.

The symposium presentations generated a lively response and genuine interest from the audience, who asked a great number of questions.
