Laringotab is a broad-spectrum antiseptic medication for the treatment of all types of sore throat in adults, pregnant women, and children from 3 years of age.*


*According to the approved instructions for medical use, Laringotab is indicated for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, gums, and larynx: gingivitis, stomatitis, catarrhal manifestations in the upper respiratory tract, aphthous ulcerations, herpetic lesions (as part of combination therapy), erosions of the oral mucosa of any etiology.

Description

Laringotab is a combined broad-spectrum preparation for the treatment of infectious-inflammatory throat diseases (pharyngitis, tonsillitis), catarrhal manifestations, as well as conditions affecting the oral mucosa and gums. The wide range of applications is due to the combination of active substances in the drug's composition.

Lysozyme – A natural local antiseptic, native to the human body, with a broad spectrum of action. It has a direct effect on bacteria, fungi, and viruses, and also participates in regulating local non-specific immunity.

Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) – Has a protective effect on the oral mucosa (exerts an anti-aphthous effect).

Laringotab – because it treats a sore throat.

Dosage form and composition

Lozenges

Number of tablets in a package: 30

Composition per tablet:

  • Lysozyme hydrochloride – 20.00 mg*
  • Pyridoxine hydrochloride – 10.00 mg
  • Hypromellose – 10.00 mg
  • Povidone K-25 – 7.82 mg
  • Magnesium stearate – 4.00 mg
  • Sodium saccharin – 0.40 mg
  • Vanilla flavor – 0.10 mg
  • Lactose monohydrate – to obtain a tablet weighing 200.00 mg

* - Lysozyme hydrochloride with a nominal activity of 40,000 FIP U/mg.

Indications for use

Treatment of infectious-inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, gums, and larynx: gingivitis, stomatitis, catarrhal manifestations in the upper respiratory tract, aphthous ulcerations, herpetic lesions (as part of combination therapy), erosions of the oral mucosa of any etiology.

Dosage and administration

The drug is for topical use. The tablets should be slowly dissolved in the mouth without chewing, retaining the dissolved tablet mass in the oral cavity for as long as possible until complete dissolution.

Children aged 3-7 years: Usually 1 tablet 3 times a day,
7-12 years - 1 tablet 4 times a day. Adults and children over 12 years - 2 tablets 3-4 times a day.

Course of treatment - 8 days.

Use in pregnancy and lactation

The drug can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
